Noctilucent Clouds Over Southern England
No exactly the most creative of pictures, more for reference, but I shot these noctilucent clouds around 12am on the night of the longest day, 21st June 2018. These are rare clouds in southern England, usually only seen from 75-90ªN... I took these images over the back of Brighton Racecourse whilst driving up to Park Cameras Imaging Festival . It was dark in every direction but sat to the north was this shimmering raft of weblike clouds. I noticed them directly after sunset but it was really hard to get anything from the M27!
All shot with the EOS R - I was very surprised how well the viewfinder operated in complete dark, the focusing aid was extremely valuable.
