Welcome to an extraordinary photography experience and probably a one-off photography day within the historic walls of Salisbury Cathedral. Immerse yourself in the ethereal beauty of this architectural masterpiece on the 10th of October 2024.

Worcester Cathedral, founded in 680, has a rich history spanning over 1,300 years. Initially dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, it became a significant monastic centre under Bishop Oswald in the late 10th century. The present building was begun by Bishop Wulfstan in 1084, featuring a Romanesque crypt. The cathedral flourished as a centre of learning, but its monastery was dissolved in 1540 during the Reformation. It suffered damage during the English Civil War but was restored, notably by the Victorians, in the 19th century. Today, it stands as a testament to its enduring role in worship and education, housing important historical texts and memorials, including those of King John and Prince Arthur Tudor.
